    Women between the ages of 50-64 should get a flu shot every year. Ask your doctor whether you should also get a pneumonia vaccine, especially if you tend to have lung problems such as asthma. You should get a tetanus-diphtheria booster vaccination every 10 years. If you are 60 or older, ask your doctor about getting a one-time shingles (herpes zoster) vaccine.
