These symptoms are a result of the fact that the tumor may be blocking your intestines, and so you are not able to pass feces as easily.

Eventually, carcinoid syndrome may develop as a result of the chemicals that are produced by the tumor. Symptoms of carcinoid syndrome include flushing, purple discoloration on your nose or lips, difficulty breathing, fast heartbeat, and diarrhea. Additionally, you may experience longer-lasting symptoms, such as heart problems, malnutrition, and loss of interest in sex or erectile dysfunction.
