    Mild dehydration can look different in different people and in different age groups. In infants and toddlers, we look for dryness of the mouth, a decrease in the amount of wet diapers, a sunken soft spot, or a lack of tear production with crying. In adults, we look for a low blood pressure, fast heart rate, as well as many of the above signs. You may notice you feel tired or sluggish or that your heart is pounding as well.
