    Testosterone regulates the structure of all body proteins and insures the development and integrity of the genitals (penis and testicles) in males. The adult testicles normally produce about 7-10 mg of testosterone daily. A deficiency in testosterone can cause:
    • erectile dysfunction;
    • less sexual interest (libido);
    • mood disturbances including depression, irritability and tiredness;
    • reduction of muscle size and strength;
    • development of clogged arteries, varicose veins and hemorrhoids;
    • osteoporosis;
    • increased body fat;
    • difficulties with concentration;
    • memory loss;
    • sleep difficulties, including obstructive sleep apnea;
    • decreased energy and agility.
