Check your incisions for infection on a daily basis. Take and record your temperature twice per day (once in the morning and again in the evening).

Notify your surgeon if you have a temperature of more than 101ºF by mouth, cloudy drainage, pus, increased pain, or redness or swelling at your incision sites.
