    • constipation
    • thin or brittle fingernails or hair
    • headaches
    • weakness
    • infections
    • weight gain
    • hair loss
    • skin conditions, including a rash, dry skin, itching and redness

    Severe side effects include:

    • allergic reactions, such as difficulty breathing or swelling of the face
    • back or stomach pain
    • persistent nausea and vomiting
    • flu-like symptoms
    • vision problems
