    • falls
    • car and motorcycle accidents

You can reduce your risk for having a tooth knocked out by taking common-sense precautions. If you are having trouble with balance and feel unsteady on your feet, talk to your doctor. Don't drive after consuming alcohol or if you're sleepy. If you play a sport such as hockey, soccer, or football that involves physical contact, wear a good-fitting mouth guard.
