No foods or medications are specifically prohibited for people taking these medications. The key is consistency in what foods you eat daily; the same applies to any changes in the vitamins or supplements that you take as part of an arthritis management program. A change in diet is compensated for by raising or lowering the dosage of the blood thinner. Therefore, if you change your intake of substances that have the potential to alter your clotting time, the dosage of blood thinner can be modified to reflect this.
