- Fish: trout, halibut, salmon, cod, water-packed tuna or salmon, shellfish
- Poultry: skinless white meat
- Lean beef: round, flank, sirloin, extra-lean ground
- Lean pork: sirloin, tenderloin, loin chops
- Leg of lamb, well-trimmed
- Beans and lentils
- Egg whites
Occasionally you may eat:
- Dark meat poultry and lightly marbled beef or pork
- Peanut butter
- Eggs
