     A knocked out tooth will leave a gap between your teeth. The most common teeth to get knocked out in accidents or other forms of trauma are the front teeth. A knocked out tooth is a dental emergency. If the tooth is reimplanted by a dentist within an hour or so of being knocked out, there is a good chance that it can be saved.
