What is primary-progressive MS (multiple sclerosis)?
-
Primary-progressive multiple sclerosis (MS) is one of four forms of the disease. If you have primary progressive MS, this means the disease is almost always slowly progressing. So, unlike other forms, you do not experience remissions, or periods of time when symptoms go away and the disease stops getting worse. There may be times when progression slows, speeds up, or temporarily tapers off, but you will not have a full remission.
