What if I don't want visitors?

    If you do not want visitors when you are in the hospital let your nurses and the admissions staff be aware of your wishes. Some hospitals have a status called “no-information patient” so you room number will not be given to visitors at the front desk.

    Sometimes a simple note on the door of the room is effective as well “Thank you for coming to visit, but I need to sleep right now”.
