If you miss a payment, call your insurance company immediately to explain. Offer an estimate of when the payment will be made and pay as soon as possible. If you can’t make the entire payment, try to make part of it, keeping copies of the payment and the receipt. Remember that your plan can deny claims, not verify your coverage with a doctor or stop your coverage for missed payments, so it’s best to keep health insurance premiums paid.
