If you have heart disease, get good fats such as olive oil, avocados, nuts, and seafood (especially salmon). Adopt the juicing habit to improve your body chemistry and reduce extra blood fats -- try it for one day every two weeks for two months. An apple is a great snack -- it's loaded with heart-loving fiber and antioxidants. Try cholesterol-lowering oat bran for breakfast, sprinkled with flaxseeds. And try adding soy to your diet. It's a good source of vegetarian protein -- and could help balance your cholesterol.
