Depending on how your body responds to Benlysta, which treats systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), your doctor will determine the best schedule for the infusions. It usually takes about an hour to receive a full dose of Benlysta. During that time, your doctor, nurse or other healthcare professional may monitor you closely to watch for signs of a negative reaction to the drug.
