What disorders affect the ear?

Common ear disorders can vary, depending on what part of the ear they affect. One of the most common disorders is temporary or permanent hearing loss. Other disorders include infections (especially of the middle ear) and blockages, which can cause temporary hearing loss and pain. Certain inner ear disorders, including Meniere's disease and vestibulitis, can cause hearing loss and balance problems.
