    There are few complications associated with direct dental bonding. The most common problem occurs when the bonding material becomes loose or falls out. This usually happens years after the initial procedure.

    Any dental procedure temporarily increases your risk of infection because it introduces additional bacteria into your mouth. Follow your dentist's instructions, and make sure to brush well to keep your mouth clean, especially in the first few days after the procedure.
