According to the National Cancer Institute's (NCI's) Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) Cancer Statistics Review, the five-year survival following a diagnosis of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is 67%, relative to the general population. If the disease is localized, then the five-year survival is 81%. Patients with regional spread have a five-year survival rate of 71%. Those with stage IV lymphoma have a 58% survival rate at five years following diagnosis.
