What causes industrial waste poisoning?

Industrial waste poisoning is caused when you breathe or touch a toxic waste product produced by industries and factories. For example, mercury poisoning results when you breathe fumes from factories which burn substances that contain mercury or when you breathe air that may contain mercury as the results of a chemical spill. Each type of industrial waste poisoning may affect the body differently, but all are caused by contact or inhalation.
