The benefits of treating a cracked tooth include having pain or discomfort reduced or eliminated. If you have had pain or discomfort when chewing, it should go away when the cracked tooth is repaired. Also, by repairing the crack in your tooth, you may be able to stop the crack from becoming worse and leading to more serious dental issues. Once the repair is completed for your cracked tooth, you should have full function of the tooth and be able to chew again without any problems.
