What are the symptoms of amblyopia?

If you experience poor vision, difficulty in perceiving depth, or an eye that moves away from its typical position, you might be showing symptoms of amblyopia. If you are concerned that your child has developed amblyopia and your child can't communicate visual problems to you, look for a tendency to cover one eye or squint when trying to focus. You may also notice that the eyes don't move together or do not appear to be looking in the same direction. Yet, not everyone who suffers from amblyopia will show symptoms.
