    Pelvic floor disorders such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary or fecal incontinence, or difficulty urinating can sometimes be embarrassing, difficult to talk about, and can affect the quality of your life. It is important that you speak with your doctor if you are experiencing these symptoms. Examples of pelvic floor disorders include:
    • urinary incontinence -- the inability to control bladder function
    • fecal incontinence -- the inability to control bowel function
    • chronic pelvic pain
    • pelvic organ prolapse - (falling down) of the bladder, rectum, bowel, uterus, or vagina from normal position
    • endometriosis
    • uterine fibroids
    • ovarian cysts
    • urinary or fecal fistula
    • urinary pain, including interstitial cystitis
    • adenomyosis
    • disorders of the uterine cervix
    • disorders of the ovaries
    • painful periods
    • vulvovaginal conditions
