    Johns Hopkins Medicine answered:

Neoplasms are a variety of tumors, occurring in the nose or sinuses. Benign (non-cancerous) growths, known as papillomas, are removed during endoscopic surgery. Inverting papilloma is a more aggressive growth that can, in some cases, lead to a cancerous tumor. Endoscopic surgery, often combined with open surgical approaches, is used to manage this disease.
