Dr. Stuart Linder answered:The internet is a great way to find just about anything, if you know where to look. Finding a doctor online however, can be very dangerous. Browse the web for Board Certified specialist that you may need and make at least three consultations with the physicians. Bring a list of question and check lists with you on these appointments. Online evaluate the physician for board certification, hospital affiliations, photos of surgical procedure (especially plastic surgeons), awards and distinguishing features. Remember, not everything on the internet is as it appears in real life, therefore ask many questions during your consultation.Helpful? 1 person found this helpfulThe internet is a great way to find just about anything, if you know where to look.
