  1. By the time you reach the end of week 10, there's much less of a risk for congenital defects in your baby. However, your baby may still be at risk for problems created by environmental factors. So, continue to look for unusual warning signs like cramping accompanied by bleeding, or vomiting. Talk to your doctor right away if you notice these or any other alarming symptoms.
