On the day of the procedure, you may take all medications as prescribed unless you have been given other instructions. However, please take any medication before the procedure only with small sips of water. Patients with diabetes should ask the doctor or nurse how to adjust their medications before the procedure. Bring a list of all your medications to the procedure, as well as a one-day supply of them.
