    Lots of magazine articles tout the claim that topical vitamin K can somehow diminish spider veins. However, this vitamin (taken orally by people with liver problems and those whose blood does not clot properly) can do much when applied to the skin to affect the appearance of surface blood vessels. Knowing your skin and its triggers is the key because, similar to rosacea, avoiding flushing is half the battle.
