Committ Lozenges as well as other Nicotine products have several reported known side effects that could be related to oral health. Those effects reported in the product labeling include increased saliva, tooth disorder, swollen tongue and unpleasant taste. Unfortunately there was a not a specific description of the tooth disorder. You should talk your doctor about your difficulty with addiction to the lozenges. He may be able to help you develop a way to wean off the lozenges or you may want to seek out a formal nicotine or smoking addiction program. You may be able to find some help from Nicotine Anonymous: https://www.nicotine-anonymous.org
