Minor side effects of Vicotza include: headache; dizziness; upset stomach; appetite loss; nausea; vomiting; diarrhea; constipation; back pain; tiredness; redness or rash at the injection site; or cold-like symptoms, including stuffy nose, sneezing, sinus pain, and sore throat. More serious side effects of Victoza require immediate medical attention. They include: a lump in the throat; hoarse voice; trouble swallowing; shortness of breath; and pancreatitis. In addition, if you feel an infection coming on, with symptoms such as fever, chills, sore throat, flu-like symptoms, bruising, bleeding, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, mouth sores, or unusual weakness, talk to your doctor right away. If you have symptoms of an allergic reaction, including hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling in the face, lips, tongue, or throat, seek immediate medical attention by calling 911.
