American Dental Association answered:Everyone wants a bright, healthy smile but oral health goes deeper than that. Oral health touches every aspect of our lives but is often taken for granted. Your mouth is a window into the health of your body. It can show signs of nutritional deficiencies or general infection. Systemic diseases, those that affect the entire body, may first become apparent because of mouth lesions or other oral problems. You can practice good oral hygiene by always brushing your teeth twice a day with an ADA-accepted fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between your teeth once a day with floss or another interdental cleaner, replacing your toothbrush every three or four months and by eating a balanced diet and limiting between-meal snacks. Your dentist may also recommend an antimicrobial mouthrinse as part of your oral hygiene routine. Don't forget to schedule regular dental check-ups to keep your smile, and yourself, healthy.

When we look good, we feel good and if our teeth are healthy, pretty and bright, our smile will reflect that same feeling. For the most part, if you feel good about your teeth and how they look, you'll tend to smile bigger making people take notice and when that happens, it creates an image of happiness and who doesn't want to be happy?
