The symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis depend on the severity of the allergies and the age of the individual. For most adults, symptoms include an itchy, runny, or stuffed nose; itchy eyes and throat; and coughing and sneezing. In children, those same congestion symptoms often lead to an ear infection. Other symptoms may include congested sinuses, headache, and wheezing.
