  1. Typically, people with auditory processing disorder seem to have normal hearing, passing hearing tests without trouble. Yet, they may show signs you might think are typical of a hearing or behavior problem. These signs may include problems learning language and learning to read, difficulty listening to and remembering spoken information; and doing poorly in school.
