    At highest risk for a super infection are people with respiratory problems, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema and smoking habits, and those with compromised immune systems, like diabetics, pregnant women, dialysis patients and even obese individuals. But as we saw during the last pandemic of H1N1, anyone can develop a super infection from flu.
