Denise Long of Honor Society of Nursing (STTI) answered:Stress is not good for you or the baby. To decrease stress related to worries about how the baby is doing, take good care of yourself! See your health care provider early, and as directed, through the pregnancy. Follow his/her recommendations regarding diet, exercise, work and relaxation. Once you have reached 16 to 20 weeks in your pregnancy, you should be able to feel the baby move. Since healthy babies move regularly, keeping track of how your baby moves each day might reassure you that all is well. Ask your provider about their preferred way of keeping track of movement and then notify them if the baby is not moving as usual.Stress is not good for you or the baby.
