Are some vegetables bad for my health?

That is tongue-in-cheek but it relates to advice from a Gastroenterologist. When asked about what to eat when a bout of colitis hits, his reply was, "Whatever doesn't hurt you." Short, sweet and to the point. Generally, vegetables - and fruits - are best for ensuring a healthful diet. However, if you have allergies, digestive or bowel conditions that are impacted by certain vegetables, it doesn't matter how healthy they are for everyone else. You must avoid or limit them. The list is very individual and sometimes you only find out the hard way.

Our children at the dinner table may not think so but a diet high in vegetables has always been considered a key component to good health and staying slim. However, dietitians are becoming increasingly aware that the quantity consumed and the preparation technique can negate or even reverse some of the positive effects of eating vegetables. This means that if you’re adding to your vegetables other foods/dressings that are high in fat such as cheeses, creamy sauces, etc., this adds taste but unwanted calories that may affect weight control. Most people consider salads to be a healthy alternative at lunch but then proceed to drown the vegetables in high-calorie salad dressings. For people who suffer from Crohn’s disease or irritable bowel disease, vegetables, which are typically high in fiber, may exacerbate the condition. However, if you are healthy and free of digestive track disorders, most vegetables are high in fiber and vitamins and can be part of any well-balanced diet.

There is no single vegetable that is "bad" for you, however you should consider eating a wide variety of vegetables. Eating the same foods over and over again, especially during times of stress, can lead to an immune system reaction to the food (IgG) or (IgE) and lead to a food intolerance or allergy.
For those with a diet generally high in sugar coupled with a diet high in starchy, sugary vegetables like potatoes and corn are at risk for developing yeast overgrowth and such.
For those with IBS or IBD, you should be mindful when eating veggies with skin and be sure to chew them well.Vegetables are extrodinarily healthful, however too much of anything can prove not to be good.
