An excellent agility drill for tennis is the agility T test. Set up four cones in the shape of a T. Begin at the cone at the bottom of the T and run as fast as you can up to the cone at the center of the T, change direction and run toward the left cone, touch it change direction and run towards the right cone, touch it, change direction again and run back to the center cone, change direction one last time and run back to the bottom cone. The M drill is another excellent agility drill for tennis. Set up five cones in the shape of a M. Begin at the bottom right cone run up to the top right cone, then back pedal to the center cone, change direction and run forward to the upper left cone, change direction again and run backward to the bottom left cone. Repeat this process only this time start from the bottom left cone and finish at the bottom right cone. Perform each drill five to ten times with one to two minutes rest between each attempt. These drills help simulate the kind of agility you need for tennis.
