    While not primarily responsible for snoring, sinus infections can certainly contribute to the problem. Sinusitis can cause nasal obstruction, and the resulting changes in airflow can worsen snoring. In addition, nasal congestion can cause you to sleep with your mouth open, and mouth breathing can worsen snoring.
