Because Taxotere is used to slow the growth of cancer cells in the body, it can also interfere with the growth of normal body cells and cause serious side effects. The common side effects of Taxotere include: nausea; vomiting; diarrhea; constipation; changes in taste; fatigue; hair loss; nail changes; eye tearing; mouth and throat sores; muscle, joint, or bone pain; and redness or swelling at the injection site. Less common and more serious side effects of Taxotere include: blistering skin; a burning or tingling sensation in the hands or feet; weakness in the hands and feet; unusual bleeding, unusual bruising, and nosebleeds. If you experience any of these symptoms, or if any of your symptoms are severe or persist, contact your doctor.
