Diovan HCT can produce some severe side effects.

It can significantly harm an unborn child, so do not take it if you are pregnant.

It can cause low blood pressure, especially if you are on a low salt diet, are vomiting, have diarrhea, have heart problems, take diuretics, or have been drinking alcohol.

If you feel dizzy or like you are going to faint, lie down and call your doctor right away.

Diovan HCT can worsen kidney and liver problems, as well as Lupus. It can also cause allergic reactions, unusual skin rash, and fluid or electrolyte (salt) difficulties.

You may feel dehydrated, including a dry mouth, muscle cramps, or less urine, or fatigued, including drowsiness, lethargy, or weakness. Fast heartbeat, restlessness, confusion, seizures, nausea, or vomiting can also occur.
