    Occasionally, individuals have a reaction to antibiotic ointments and a small rash may develop. If you develop a rash or have an allergic reaction to this medication, you should stop using it. Also, do not use an antibiotic ointment for treating serious burns, deep cuts or any such serious injuries. If this is the case, a doctor should be seen.
