Should I clean my baby's pacifier?

    Absolutely!! Our studies have shown that while the baby pacifier may have a few or no germs in the package; within days, the device becomes heavily contaminated. While some of these germs are from the child's own mouth, many are from the environment. All of these germs have the potential to make your baby sick. Because pacifiers are porous, the germs are not only on the surface of the device, but also in the pores. These contaminated pores are impossible to clean. Therefore, we recommend that pacifiers be changed at least every two weeks.
