    Salmonellosis is a foodborne illness causes by the bacteria, Salmonella. It is found in raw poultry, poultry salads such as chicken salad, fish, shrimp, raw meat, meat products, dairy products, eggs and egg products. It is also found in improperly cooked cream sauces, tofu, custards and pastry creams. The symptoms of Salmonellosis include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, fever, headaches and abdominal cramps. Infants and the elderly may experience severe dehydration.
