    No, it is highly unlikely that you would have PMS symptoms after going through menopause. PMS is short for premenstrual syndrome. A lot of women are affected with the syndrome which occurs prior to having a period. Symptoms include cramping, bloating, breast tenderness, and mood changes. The chances of having PMS symptoms are increased by stress, high caffeine intake, or family members with PMS symptoms. When women reach menopause, they stop having a period. When the period stops, the PMS symptoms also stop.
