Diane Armstrong - NASM Elite Trainer answered:Plyometric training is great for weight loss. It produces explosive, powerful movements that load and contract muscles in a rapid sequence. These exercises help you jump higher, run faster and hit harder depending on what sport is being trained for but plyometric exercises don’t have to be used for sport specific training only. They make for a fun and challenging change up to your regular workout routine and burn some serious calories.
