Not to mention, you probably wouldn’t want to put a cream you use for your feet on your face. When the plaque psoriasis affects a small part of the body, topical steroid creams or ointments or light therapy may be used. But when plaque psoriasis is more severe and covers a larger part of your body, injectable drugs or oral medications may be better.

It's not uncommon to have plaque psoriasis on your eyelids, ears, skin folds, hands and nails, feet, and mouth and lips. Because your skin is different at each of these sites, your doctor will prescribe different therapies to treat the plaque psoriasis.
Also, plaque psoriasis can affect each person differently. Your response to therapy may be different from someone else's response. When plaque psoriasis is found on one part of the body only, your doctor may recommend topical treatments or light therapy. If plaque psoriasis has a negative effect on your quality of life, your doctor may use stronger treatments with injectable drugs or oral medications.
