Can pain in the temple be related to my sinuses?

    The temple area of the head is on the side.  Most sinus pain is around the nose.  The cheeks are where the maxillary sinuses are.  The bridge of the nose is where the ethmoid sinuses are and the forehead is where the frontal sinuses are.  There are no sinuses in the temple area.  However, if sinus pain is severe, clenching of the jaw can activate the muscles in the temple area, causing a tension headache in the temples.
