    PMS symptoms can be markedly decreased by taking vitamin B6 200 mg a day, magnesium 200 mg a day, and Evening Primrose oil (or borage seed oil) 3,000 mg a day for 3 months. Then the dose can often be lowered. Bioidentical progesterone can also help in severe cases that persist after three months of nutritional treatments.

    Natural treatments for PMS include a whole food healthy diet, exercise, yoga, massage and acupuncture. In addition, certain vitamins and minerals help. These include folic acid at 400 mcgs, vitamin B6 (50-100 mgs), calcium (800 mgs), magnesium (400 mgs) and vitamin E (300 IU’s).
