    When examining moles for concerns of cancer, you should be looking for changes to your mole. You should be more concerned if the size is increasing, if the borders are not smooth, and if the color is not one solid color. If your mole looks the same as it has for years, then it is probably benign. If you have any concerns, ask your primary doctor to take a look.
