Which one of lamotrigine, Paxil, simvastatin and Elavil cause hair loss?

    Both lamotrigine and simvastatin can cause hair loss. The combination of the two medications makes it more pronounced. You can talk to your physician about changing your doses or medications. Sometimes, underlying conditions, such as hypothyroidism and others, can cause hair loss.  Ask your physician to check your lab values to make sure there is not another cause for your hair loss.
