Tell your doctor if you have myasthenia gravis or are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking methocarbamol. Do not drive until you know how methocarbamol affects you because it can cause drowsiness and impaired reactions. Do not drink alcohol or take any other medications, such as cold remedies, narcotics, sleeping pills, seizures, depression or anxiety drugs as these can make your drowsiness worse. Before taking methocarbamol, you should inform your doctor about any medications, vitamins or nutritional supplements you are taking. Other drugs that may interact with methocarbamol include: other muscle relaxers, galantamine, donepezil, pyridostigmine and rivastigmine. Make sure to inform your doctor if you're taking any of these medications.
